Each location provides an adventure within the travel adventure! A story that reveals the heart and soul of the accommodation lies within the walls for you to discover.
We love to travel and explore new countries, new locations, and uncover the stories that have shaped each of them. As such, we have grown to love AirBnB. If you have never explored the site let alone stayed with an AirBnB host, we not only recommend it, but would say that you're missing out on an incredible aspect of that community.
The history, the experiences, and the stories that each accommodation has in store further enriches our trips. We have stayed in centuries old farm houses, former saloons and homes that have withstood more than you or I could comprehend. One of our favourites thus far has to be at Malin Head, Ireland. This century old thatched roof cottage (picture included) perches at the northern most tip of Ireland, surrounded by rugged beauty and serene landscapes.
"We start with the perfect experience and then work backward. That's how we're going to continue to be successful." Brian Chesky ~ Founder AirBnB
The sunrise over the rugged coastal line is like nothing you will feel anywhere. The Icelandic ponies grazing in the surrounding fields bring a peace to any hectic travels. It's hard not to pause, breath and appreciate all that a place like this has to offer.
We have stayed with hosts across numerous countries and cities and each bring a unique charm and hospitality that even the best five star resort can't deliver. The stories that these hosts share of their communities and home deepen the experience. In many locations, our arrivals were greeted with freshly picked eggs or freshly ground coffee. Family friendly hosts are abundant, making the experience far richer than any textbook or well skilled teacher can dive. As in many #AirBnB accommodations, our stay at Pearse Mews in Mountmellick Ireland allowed us to prepare meals for our family in a fully stocked kitchen after grabbing fresh produce and meat from a local grocer and butcher.
One of the locations we stayed at in Nova Scotia, included much of it's incredible story as part of the decor. For the families looking to draw more out of their experiences, live life to the fullest and to enrich their travel adventures with culture, history and an endless supply of stories that you will enjoy both on your travels, but before and after for years to come; AirBnB is absolutely a must!
Our AirBnB experiences have very much been about the experience, the story and the human connection.
Check it out for yourself AirBnB!
